recruit(meant)

This week is THE week.

And by THE week, I mean sorority recruitment at CNU.

Just like every other girl that is going through the process, I am having a blast. But also like every other girl, I am stressing about it a little too much.

What does it all really mean?

For a little advice from one of the sweetest sorority girls around, I asked Rachel Timmerman from A Preppy State of Mind for some tips about finding the right place. She was sweet enough to give me some very encouraging advice that is meant to be shared!

“I know this sounds cliché, but being yourself when talking with the members of the sororities is SO important.  It is truly the very best way to find your fit.  Try not to be nervous, and remember to keep your options opened, because every sorority is different at every university.  I also think it’s a good idea to think up a list of important things you’re looking for in an organization ahead of time.  So, when you go through recruitment, ask yourself these questions and remember that they’re important qualities you are looking for.  I think that is how you can best find your fit.”

Could she be any more right?

Throughout this week, I have realized just how important it is to be true to yourself and your values in all that you do. This will surely lead you to the place God wants you to be!

On a lighter note, I am super excited to wear this darling necklace and dress from Our World Boutique tonight

I wish you all the very best!
