vintage gems

With the combination of freshman move-in, college classes, and all the other new and exciting things that come along with being a first-year, I’ve been just a little busy.

Which is why (I’ll take a second to apologize right now), I have yet to announce the two lucky giveaway winners…

(drumroll please)

Congratulations to Emilee and Taylor! These two lovely ladies will be receiving custom-made silver rings. (don’t forget to send me your sizes!)

With that all said and done, this week’s post goes along with the jewelry theme…

While my favorite jewels may not be custom made, they are equally as darling and delightful.

Let’s give it up for VINTAGE!

vintage gems

Back before the days of Charlotte Russe and Forever 21, jewelry was handcrafted and high quality. That same value today comes with a heavy price tag.

But who says you can’t have both?

Here are some of my favorite spots for finding these treasures:
-thrift and consignment stores

-grandma’s closet

-under the christmas tree (hand-me-down jewelry is such a special gift!)

Pearls for pennies? Sounds like my kind of shopping.

And now for a sampling of my favorite vintage gems.

A girl can never have enough pearls. I have almost every length, size, and color thanks to my grandma’s jewelry box.BeFunky_null_1fghj

I hope you enjoyed my favorite treasures, and have a beautiful day.

Ask away if you have any questions about jewelry thrifting!
